Challenges this week: Ive had a few challenges this past week so ill start at the beginning. Last thursday i woke at 2am with severe period like pain, i was also getting tightenings randomly along with this and sharp pains in my right ribs which make it difficult for me to breathe and its painful. I rang the hospital that night explaining these to which the expressed they just think its braxton hicks and to rest and it should go away. Fast forward to Sunday, i was still getting all of this however it became alot more severe and painful so i called again and got told to go in. My cervix is still closed so thats a bonus however my liver function results were slightly high but they still sent me home and to get an ultrasound when i could as they were/are thinking gallstones. On Tuesday we had our last scan of Oliver! Who is growing perfectly. But after this we had an antenatal appointment which showed my blood pressure was elevated to 130/80 (im usually 110/60) so i done a urine test which showed elevated levels of protein so i was sent back to the assessment unit to have more bloods and to be monitored for a few hours. My blood pressure came back down fairly quickly thankfully and the blood test showed the same as the one of sunday, the urine test showed slightly high protein in my urine but not high enough to cause them any concern at this point. Yesterday which was wednesday i went and got my ultrasound done for the possible gallstones, they seen what could be a few gallstones or could be shadow from Oliver as he wasnt letting them see properly. We find out next tuesday what the specialist has to sa at our next antenatal app.
Best moment this week: Seeing Oliver and feeling him move around makes all the pains worth it. He is measuring at 5 pounds 7 ounces according to the scan ♡
What i am most looking forward to in the next week: Finding out the results from the ultrasound to hopefully find out whats causing me all of this crazy pain ive been having.
Baby Buys: We brought a baby safety gate and a few other baby safety things this week.
Mummy Buys: Disposable underwear for in the hospital, im not sure if ill use them but the option is there.
